Director - Equity Capital Markets and PLC Advisory

The Role

Our capital advisory team provides financial advisory insight and expertise to drive the optimal outcome for our clients on a wide range of transactions. 

As a part of Teneo's UK Capital Advisory and Restructuring Business, we provide clients with financial advice across the UK corporate finance spectrum including: advice when preparing for, and executing, major equity capital markets transactions such as IPOs; public company Takeover Code and other M&A transactions; and acting for corporates, creditors and other stakeholders in connection with financial restructurings.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate transactions and collaborate with Company professionals on emerging opportunities.
  • Lead and manage all aspects of transaction execution from “pitch” to closing.
  • Develop and maintain client and prospect relationships by focusing on long-term strategy and objectives.
  • Proactively develop and present high-quality ECM, M&A and other corporate finance analysis and to prospects and clients.

 

Key Skills & Experience

  • 5 years + of UK corporate finance experience in UK investment banking, broking or similar
  • Experience supporting in the origination of, and central roles in the execution of, M&A, ECM, IPOs and/or other UK corporate finance transactions
  • Familiarity with the Takeover Code and Listing Rules
  • Generalist or sector specialist - no preference. Some interest/experience in tech helpful
  • Comfortable pitching to and advising a range of clients including plcs, financial sponsors and other stakeholders
  • Experience in global investment banking, corporate finance boutique or UK focussed stockbroker.
