Director

Tarnjeet Bhachu is a Director with Teneo in Leeds, having joined Teneo as part of its purchase of Deloitte’s UK Restructuring business.

Tarnjeet leads Teneo’s Pensions Advisory Practice in the North, bringing over 13 years of experience across covenant advisory and restructuring services.

Tarnjeet is experienced in advising trustees on covenant grading, mitigation options and affordability in an integrated manner alongside funding and investment considerations.

Specialisms include assessing covenant for multi-employer schemes and within the not-for-profit sector. His role comprises advising corporate and trustee clients on employer covenant and providing covenant advice in triennial valuations, restructuring and transaction situations.

 

Highlights of recent experience

• Project Key – Independent covenant assessment of a global FTSE 100 bank for its scheme trustees.

• Project Hammer – Advised on covenant loss mitigation options to be proposed to the trustees of the scheme following a corporate transaction valued at $6.5bn.

• Project Sally – Independent covenant assessment of a car hire business for its scheme trustees.

Project Bono – Advised on employer covenant impact matters relating to the merger of two pension schemes.
