Within our local communities, and at a global scale, Teneo is deeply committed to helping create a better world for all.
As an organization, we are dedicated to creating a culture and work environment that supports inclusivity, empowerment, intellectual curiosity and integration. Through a mix of strategic partnerships, volunteer work and philanthropic giving, we also work to support these same ideals outside our offices.
The following examples represent just some of the community engagement, fundraising and philanthropic giving initiatives we are involved in on a global, regional and local level.
Community Engagement
New York Cares
Teneo partners with New York Cares to support communities across New York City through hands-on volunteering and seasonal giving initiatives. Colleagues take part in park revitalization projects – clearing litter, planting shrubs and maintaining garden areas – while also supporting the New York Cares Winter Coat Drive and Winter Wishes program, helping keep fellow New Yorkers warm and ensuring young people from low-income families receive meaningful gifts during the holiday season.
Future Frontiers
In the UK, Teneo has a longstanding partnership with Future Frontiers, a social mobility charity that supports young people from low-income households through personalized career coaching, skills development and exposure to professional role models. Teneo colleagues volunteer as mentors, helping pupils engage with learning and achieve at school and beyond.
Read Ahead
Teneo and Read Ahead have partnered since 2015. Read Ahead matches volunteer mentors with students to help them build connections, confidence and a love of reading. These mentors also help students further develop their literacy skills through weekly one-on-one virtual sessions during the school year.
Loughborough Community Centre
Teneo partners with the Loughborough Community Centre at the Max Roach Centre in Brixton, a community hub that supports children and families in the local area. Through volunteering and community engagement, colleagues from Teneo’s London office support the center’s work to create welcoming spaces where young people and families can connect and learn.
Fundraising and Philanthropic Giving
Cycle for Survival
Since 2013, Teneo colleagues in the U.S. have participated in Cycle for Survival, a high-energy indoor team cycling event that raises funds for research at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Samaritans
Since 2023, Teneo’s teams across the UK have partnered with Samaritans to support their mission of reducing isolation and providing lifesaving assistance. Through fundraising events and pro bono services, we have helped raise money and provided strategic insights on workplace mental health. The partnership reinforces Teneo’s commitment to employee well-being by offering valuable mental health resources.
