Manager, Insolvency Technical, Quality & Risk Management

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Quality and Risk Management team within our Financial Advisory team at Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm.

You will be providing technical and risk support to insolvency engagement teams working on delivering large and complex insolvency appointments both in the UK and offshore, predominantly England and Wales and Scotland focused.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the insolvency implementation arm of the Quality and Risk Management team, your primary responsibility will be to support the monitoring and refinement of existing, and the development of new, procedures, templates and standard documents for each of the various case types, including, but not limited to:

  • Administration
  • Bankruptcy
  • Company Voluntary Arrangements
  • Compulsory Liquidation
  • Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation
  • Members’ Voluntary Liquidation
  • Monitor appointments
  • Receivership

You will be expected to be able to work and communicate effectively with diverse teams across the business and often to tight deadlines.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Have passed or be studying for the Joint Insolvency Exams
  • 3+ years of experience either in insolvency risk management or case work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • IT literate in Power point, Excel, Word and IPS
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and develop both technical skills and an understanding of business
  • Experience coaching and mentoring others
  • Demonstrate an effective approach to time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines
