
Erik Hotmire
Erik Hotmire is Senior Managing Director at Teneo, where he advises the leaders of some of the world’s largest and most complex organizations on their most critical issues. Erik helps clients develop strategies that shape reputation through crisis, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate positioning, leadership transition, geopolitical and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining Teneo, Erik was a Partner at Brunswick Group, a corporate affairs advisory firm where he co-led their global Financial Institutions Group. Previously, he served as Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Senior Advisor to the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and White House spokesman, Director at public affairs firm Clark & Weinstock and spokesperson for two U.S. Senators. He began his career in radio and television journalism.
Erik has advised Bank of America, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Morgan Stanley, PNC, Santander, US Bank, Fidelity Investments, AIG, Prudential, Visa, Facebook, Microsoft, 3M, Moody’s, Lending Club and several alternative investment firms.
Erik is a member of the Board of Visitors of The Fund for American Studies’ Institute on Comparative Political and Economic Systems and serves on the Board of Directors of Friends of Aspen Institute Germany.
