Asef Anwarzai is a Vice President with Herter & Co., Teneo’s Financial Advisory business in Germany. Asef is primarily focused on complex debt advisory and restructuring situations.

Asef has over eight years of financial advisory, restructuring and financing experience across a wide range of sectors, having joined Herter & Co. as a Senior Associate in 2021. Prior to joining Herter & Co., Asef was part of the Leveraged Finance team within HSBC, providing financing solutions for financial sponsors on a club and underwritten basis.

Asef holds an MSc. in Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and a BSc. in Business Administration with a focus on Corporate Finance from the City University of New York.
