Rachel Posner

Senior Managing Director

Rachel Posner counsels senior management teams and boards and works closely with their legal and financial advisors, advising them on communications to a range of key stakeholders around complex business and financial issues, long-term positioning and reputation and brand management.

In addition to the development and execution of strategic communications, executive and corporate positioning, and litigation, restructuring and regulatory support, she brings an interdisciplinary approach to her work, with strategic messaging and strategy aligned with business needs, compliance/governance and ESG goals. She works with both public and private companies across many sectors including entertainment/theatrical productions, pharmaceutical companies, TMT, consumer products, energy, industrials, professional and financial services.

Rachel leads teams in crisis communications and preparedness plans, and has done extensive work developing and implementing successful programs and strategies and programs related to crisis and issues management.

Prior to joining Teneo, Rachel was a Managing Director at Kekst, a strategic communications firm, where she provided financial and communications counsel to both public and private companies around the globe and across a range of industries.

Before joining Kekst, Rachel was General Counsel at Georgeson, a global market leader in strategic shareholder communications, proxy solicitation and consulting services.

She began her career as an M&A lawyer at Fried Frank in New York. Rachel holds a B.A. in religion from Columbia University and a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is on the Board of Trustees of The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine.
