Liz Dunn is a Managing Director with Teneo, based in New York. Liz has an ability to distill company strategy into the most effective message for the investment community. Liz is passionate about the intersection of long-term value and near-term financial results and believes the two go hand in hand when crafting an investor relations strategy.
Liz was most recently an Operating Partner at Consumer Growth Partners, a private equity and advisory firm. Concurrently, Liz spent four years designing and developing a forecasting and analytics platform for multi-unit businesses.
Previously, Liz spent over a decade as a highly regarded and Institutional Investor ranked Equity Research Analyst covering the consumer sector. Liz was in the underwriting group for the initial public offerings of Lululemon, Michael’s, and Ulta Beauty. She covered over forty companies during her time in equity research.
Prior to her career in equity research, Liz held finance and strategy roles at Gap Inc. and Liz Claiborne. She began her career as a member of the Consumer Investment Banking group at Bear Stearns & Co.
Liz currently serves as an Independent Board Member at GameStop, a role she is stepping down from in June 2021. Throughout her career, Liz has frequently appeared on CNBC and has been quoted in national print media including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post.
Liz graduated Summa Cum Laude from Spelman College with a B.A. in Economics.
