Senior Managing Director & Head of Teneo Australia

Emily Blyth is Senior Managing Director and Head of Teneo in Australia, based in Sydney, with nearly 20 years’ experience managing communications for some of the most high-profile and complex companies across a number of different industries.

Prior to Teneo, Emily was Director of Consiglio where she provided corporate and financial communications advice to listed and private organisations.

Prior to Consiglio, Emily managed financial communication and issues management at Anglo American based in London. At Anglo American, Emily worked alongside members of the executive committee and the board to advise on stakeholder communications for numerous transactions in southern Africa, Europe, and North and South America. She managed financial calendar communications at the group level and issues management for the company.

Prior to Anglo American, Emily held a senior communications role at Goldman Sachs. She began her career in financial communications with Finsbury, where she represented global energy and financial services clients based in the UK and Italy. Emily received a B.A. in Public Communications from U.T.S. and has completed management courses in sustainability and leadership through the University of Cambridge/UQ and I.E.S.E. Business School in Spain.
