Christian Buss is a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Investor Relations at Teneo.
Christian has deep expertise advising public and private companies with a focus on investor relations, activism defense, communications strategy, IPOs and M&A across industries.
Prior to joining Teneo, Christian was the Director of Investor Relations and Competitive Intelligence for Columbia Sportswear Company, where he led the investor relations outreach program, managed earnings processes and supported strategic planning initiatives. Prior to Columbia, Christian served as an equity research analyst for over 15 years in consumer discretionary and semiconductors. He served as the Director of Global Apparel, Footwear and Softlines Research for Credit Suisse, where he led analysis of global brands and retailers in the apparel, footwear, and accessories sectors, while also developing an industry-leading social media analytics platform evaluating brand momentum across softlines categories.
Before joining Credit Suisse, Christian served in various roles at ThinkEquity LLC, Thomas Weisel Partners, Susquehanna, and Forrester Research.
Christian holds a Bachelor’s degree from Reed College and a Master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
