Job Description:
A Vice President within Teneo Risk is a core, client facing member of our account teams. As a Vice President you are responsible for assisting with the definition and execution of strategic programs and initiatives in support of Teneo clients. This may include, but not be limited to helping clients identify vulnerabilities in their businesses, conducting risk assessments of key threats and risks to a company’s readiness, develop and implement defense measures and robust response tactics, and helping clients build a roadmap for a holistic enterprise security system. Often our client work will result in the execution of the strategic roadmap, thus the ability to establish long-term, trust-based relationships is crucial. Vice Presidents are highly motivated and dedicated individuals who are able to deal directly with senior clients and internal team members on strategy, new business ideas, thought leadership, and industry trends. Vice Presidents will work closely with Senior Vice President and Managing Director Account Leaders to manage client engagements and deliver best-in-class service.

Responsibilities:
- Bring significant physical and cyber security risk management expertise to bear in the delivery of client engagements such as physical security assessments, gap analysis and recommendations and roadmap programs
- Advise clients on emergency management and crisis response procedures
- Knowledge of DHS Safety Act and applicability to security programs as part of security program delivery
- Understand the CEO’s agenda and craft innovative solutions to advance, expedite, and multiply value
- Drive impact and value on programs related to physical, reputational, or digital safety and security
- Establish mutually beneficial long-term relationships with senior-level clients and serve as a key member of the client account team, directing multiple efforts for clients
- Interact directly and be the point person with senior clients to create and execute on strategic initiatives
- Manage workstreams and projects including definition of timelines, deliverables, creation of progress reports across the account team, the client, and vendors
- Conduct research into emerging threats, trends in the security industry, and advances in technology or methodology and act as a conduit to share these evolutions with technical leadership within the client’s organization to incorporate in their security management planning
- Drive the evaluation, development and execution of corporate security and executive protection programs, considering the tactics, techniques, and procedures appropriate for individual clients based on their industry, environment, and risk appetite
- Interact directly with clients to facilitate workstream activity, create project deliverables and ensure team is able to meet critical deadlines
- Understand and articulate relevant industry trends in order to help supply independent assessments on strategic opportunities and priorities
- Collaborate and interact across internal divisions in order to define and deliver the most valuable and meaningful solution for the client
- Serve as a workstream lead or project manager across multiple client efforts simultaneously
- Responsible for meeting deadlines and timelines
- Understand when appropriate to escalate client issues / risks through right chain at client and / or within the internal Teneo management framework
- Collaborate and interact across internal divisions in order to craft and deliver the most valuable and meaningful solution for the client
- Serve as a role model and mentor to colleagues
- Drive and exemplify Teneo culture both internally and externally while working with our clients
Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience as a corporate security professional in private security as a consultant/practitioner focused on assessment of critical security threats, risks and mitigation strategies, including development of holistic security programs and deployment of such programs. Other focus areas of expertise may include critical infrastructure protection, counterterrorism, cyber risk management, intelligence analysis, and program management
- Strong experience and demonstrated desire and dedication to delivering project deliverables and meeting milestones as well as developing thought leadership in a given industry or security risk discipline, particularly in infrastructure protection, crisis preparedness and response training, but also has desire and flexibility to work across industry domains
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of the various enterprise security components that comprise an effective program today and a keen eye toward what the future entails
- Knowledge or understanding of technological trends and developments in physical, technical and information security and risk management
- Able to grasp how new technologies work and how they might be applied to achieve security/risk solutions
- Strong facilitation skills and a clear ability to build relationships with business stakeholders at all levels, including executive managers and vendors
- Proven problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems, driving solutions through to resolution
- Strong project management skills with the ability to establish priorities, produce high quality deliverables, and manage expectations across multiple clients
- Maintains an entrepreneurial spirit and is innovative by nature – in ideas, approaches, products, etc. and approaches complex issues with intellectual rigor and good judgement
- Powerfully persuasive with the ability to communicate clearly, comfortably, and professionally – both verbally and written
- Education - Bachelor’s degree from a top tier college or university, Master’s degree desirable but not required

Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed).

Total Compensation Package Includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of additional benefits and rewards.
Flexible Work Policy Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible and if you are assigned to the New York office, the company expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three times a week.
