Role Purpose

The Senior Vice President, People Advisory, will play an important role in the growth of the business’ expansion in APAC by supporting revenue and profitability for People Advisory in the practice of 'People Strategy & Performance', which includes but is not limited to, Organisational Performance, (Executive and Team Assessments, Organisational Design, Coaching and Leadership Impact) and People Strategy (C-Suite Succession Planning, People and Business Strategy, Culture and Purpose).

This is a newly created role to establish the foundation and new practice area, for the business in APAC.

Responsibilities:

Practice Sector Growth

  • Lead the foundational build out of People Advisory offering in APAC across the practice area of People Strategy & Performance including the pillars of Organisational Performance and People Strategy and develop the plan to approach the market.
  • Prepare and execute the business development plan with clear client targets and agreed revenue targets (individual and business).
  • Drive organic and new business growth, and proactively identify opportunities to sell our differentiated approach.
  • Serve as a trusted business advisor by influencing client direction, as appropriate, to strengthen long-term relationships and lead on the retention and organic growth of client accounts.
  • Build the practice within a lean People Advisory team of likeminded professionals to support agreed growth aspirations.
  • Partnering with global Teneo People Advisory to proactively implement Organisational Performance and People Strategy work streams suitable for the region.
  • Insight into the CEO agenda with the ability to predict future advisory needs. Channel the information back into the broader People Advisory team to enable multi service offerings for clients.

People Strategy & Performance

  • Actively procure and manage the end-to-end advisory process for the People Strategy services, building flexible frameworks and methodologies.
  • Advise, prepare and execute for the C-Suite and Board level clients on succession planning and performance development.
  • Partner with clients to clearly articulate their values and behaviors that form the foundation of desired corporate culture and purpose.
  • Design people and business strategies that support and align with overall business objectives and performance metrics.
  • Deliver constructive executive and team assessments to measure performance and effectiveness.
  • Use demonstrated experience to provide client programmes to coach, train and educate executives and teams to help them thrive.
  • Stay abreast of trends, technologies and tools across Organisational Performance to be able to address bespoke client needs.

Thought Leadership

  • Significant experience in professional services, and or client-side experience, leading a growing business, procuring, and managing clients/client relationships, ideally from a high-touch management consulting and or executive search background.
  • Mature professional profile as a practitioner and or demonstrated knowledge/established reputation and networks in business and related People Strategy field.
  • Demonstrated experience using coaching and performance assessment tools to develop and enable individuals and teams.
  • Proven knowledge of best practice culture and leadership development methodology.
  • Demonstrated maturity and interest in developing and growing products and services to meet market opportunities.
  • Proven ability to develop, win and grow business, as well as experience maintaining an ongoing revenue stream.
  • Ability to establish long term senior level client relationships by offering valued, high level strategic counsel and has a track record of retaining clients.
  • Sound written communication skills including general business correspondence and report writing.

Requirements:

Technical Knowledge

  • Significant experience in professional services, and or client-side experience, leading a growing business, procuring, and managing clients/client relationships, ideally from a high-touch consulting or executive search background.
  • Mature professional profile as a practitioner and or demonstrated knowledge/established reputation and networks in business and related People Strategy field.
  • Demonstrated experience using coaching and performance assessment tools to develop and enable individuals and teams.
  • Proven knowledge of best practice culture and leadership development methodology.
  • Demonstrated maturity and interest in developing and growing products and services to meet market opportunities
  • Proven ability to develop, win and grow business, as well as experience maintaining an ongoing revenue stream
  • Ability to establish long term senior level client relationships by offering valued, high level strategic counsel and has a track record of retaining clients.
  • Exposure to the use of ATS and CRM and/or similar database systems, as well as the Microsoft365 suite.
