Sophie Dunn

Managing Director

Sophie Dunn is a Managing Director at Teneo.

She has 12 years’ experience as an integrated communications specialist, with a passion for working across disciplines to create campaigns that resonate with multiple stakeholders, build reputational value and drive corporate trust.

Sophie has deep experience across a variety of sectors, from retail to FMCG, technology, telecoms, food and drink and automotive.

She has a special interest in creativity and supports teams and individuals across the consultancy to sharpen their creative approach to new and existing client challenges.

At Teneo Sophie has advised global category-leading businesses. These include Coca-Cola, Diageo, eBay and currently, McDonald’s.

Sophie’s existing role with McDonald’s sees her lead the development and implementation of integrated communications strategies to protect McDonald’s corporate reputation, grow brand advocacy and build trust in the UK business. She advises clients on issues ranging from industrial action and pay to obesity and responsible marketing, and has led campaigns that have driven positive reappraisal of both the quality of McDonald’s food and its record as one of the country’s largest employers.

Sophie also has experience of working with UK government departments including No.10 and DCMS to manage strategic communications for programmes ranging from the digital economy to youth and civil society.

Sophie has an MA in English from Oxford University.
