Ed Hill is an Associate Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business. Ed has over seven years’ experience, working with stakeholders of financially distressed and insolvent businesses in a range of sectors including retail, travel and hospitality.

Prior to Teneo, Ed joined the Deloitte Restructuring Services team in Leeds as a graduate in 2014 before transferring to London in 2017. He has experience in a range of advisory work, including reviewing cash flow forecasts, undertaking business reviews for creditors, assisting companies in their negotiations with creditors, contingency planning, and accelerated M&A processes to market and sell distressed companies.

Ed’s work on corporate insolvencies includes overseeing payments and supplier correspondence relating to over £30m of inbound stock on the Arcadia Group administration, as well as negotiating with IP holders for ongoing use of content to support the administration strategy. He also has experience monitoring trading cash flows and liaising with various stakeholders affected by insolvency.

In 2019 Ed completed a six-month secondment to the Netherlands’ Restructuring team, performing advisory work for large private and listed Dutch companies. Ed is a fully qualified chartered accountant.
