Basil Towers is a Senior Managing Director at Teneo. He advises on trust and reputation management as organisational capabilities and the development of high value Corporate Affairs functions.
He has been conducting research in the US, EMEA and Asia for 15 years amongst the leaders of multi-national corporations to inform the development of benchmarks and methodologies that improve trust and reputation performance.
Basil began his career at Burson Marsteller before becoming a Director of Shandwick UK. In 1989 he established Christow Consultants, a corporate communications consultancy and then founded Hesleden Partners in 2005, to help companies to build reputation management as an organisational capability and to develop high performing Corporate Affairs functions. Hesleden was acquired by Blue Rubicon in 2014,
Basil established the Corporate Affairs Academy in partnership with the Centre for Corporate Reputation at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School where he is an Associate Fellow.
