Teneo Expands U.S. People Advisory Business



Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointments of Keith McAllister and Jamie Waldron as Senior Managing Directors in the firm’s U.S. People Advisory business. Based in New York and Los Angeles respectively, both bring decades of industry expertise and trusted advisory experience across media, entertainment, sports and technology.

Keith McAllister is an accomplished executive recruiter and former journalist with a diverse background as a senior media executive, board member and venture-backed CEO. Most recently, he served as a Senior Partner in the Sports, Media & Entertainment Practice at Modern Executive Solutions, where he led board, CEO and C-suite searches for leading companies across the media, information services and digital landscape. Keith previously held senior roles at Accelent and SRI, helping to build and scale their media practices.

Keith’s career includes 18 years at CNN, where he rose to EVP and Managing Editor and led the U.S. newsgathering operation to an Emmy Award for coverage of 9/11. He also served as General Manager of Thomson Reuters’ Consumer Media division and was CEO of tech startups Mochila and Wochit. A committed nonprofit leader, Keith has served on the boards of Inside Climate News and Americares.

Jamie Waldron brings over 25 years of experience in the entertainment and executive search industries. He joins Teneo from Modern Executive Solutions, where he was a Senior Partner and Global Head of the Sports, Media & Entertainment Practice. Jamie has led transformative executive searches for many of the world’s most prominent entertainment, media and sports organizations.

Jamie’s deep domain expertise is rooted in a media and entertainment career that began in television production and included senior roles at Fremantle North America, Viacom Productions, ITC Entertainment and Creative Artists Agency. He currently serves on the Board of Trust for The University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and is a member of the Board of Directors for The Peabody Awards.
