Associate Director

Olivier Hofstede is an Associate Director within the Management Consulting team at Teneo, based in London.

Olivier has significant senior-level experience in complex commercial modelling, commercial strategy development and risk/sensitivity analysis. He has a decade of experience supporting clients across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on transport. He has worked with a large number of UK transport operating companies, covering a breadth of markets and geographies. Olivier has an in- depth knowledge of UK rail and bus, and has additional experience advising airlines, broader aviation businesses, international bus companies and transport authorities.

Olivier’s revenue modelling work has included designing complex modelling suites and ensuring robustness to withstand rigorous third-party audits. He has done so within a range of contexts, including transport bidding, growth strategy development and to support business-as-usual activity such as annual business planning and internal business casing. His experience extends to contract negotiation and quantifying the broader economic benefit of growth initiatives.

Olivier has also supported rail, bus, aviation and consumer businesses (and their owners, investors and lenders) in navigating economic volatility and market changes through market analysis, demand and revenue modelling in a range of scenarios that could play out.

More broadly, Olivier has extensive wider experience in industrial goods and services (including oil and gas), business support services, and technology, working with private equity firms, financial investors, and directly with businesses.

Olivier holds a MEng (Master of Engineering) and MA (Master of Arts) from the University of Cambridge.
