Joonhyung Park is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Stategy and Communications business, based in Dubai. He specialises in narrative strategy, reputation management and operating model optimisation, and has more than 10 years of experience in both private and public sectors across Korea, Singapore and the UAE.

At Teneo, Joon has worked with key government entities on projects including the building of a narrative-driven strategic communications function for public institutions. Joon has also provided strategic advisory for national pavilion positioning and narrative development for multilateral events.

Prior to joining Teneo, Joon was at Expo 2020 Dubai, developing communications strategy, crisis communications function and event operations planning, as well as providing communications support for a USD 100 million innovation and partnership programme for Expo. Prior to Expo, Joon worked with APCO Worldwide on a public affairs and government relations projects in Korea and Singapore.

Joon holds a BA in political science and international relations from Yonsei University in South Korea and has served as a UN peacekeeper in Lebanon as part of the Korean Army.
