Toni Siman is an Associate Director in the Core Restructuring team, within Teneo’s Financial Advisory Practice in London.

Toni joined Teneo in September 2022 from Grant Thornton’s Risk & Restructuring team based in London. She has significant experience across the financial restructuring spectrum advising global corporates, lenders and shareholders across both public and private sectors.

Toni’s experience ranges from independent business reviews, cash flow forecasting and monitoring to debt restructurings, financial advisory and options analysis. Toni has been a lead contact for multiple client relationships and liaising effectively with stakeholders. Her core sector experience includes commodities, energy, construction and financial services.

Toni is a qualified Chartered Accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales (ICAEW) and has over 5.5 years of experience within the Audit Practice (at Grant Thornton) and particularly in the Financial Services sector covering private and public companies. Toni has led and managed a number of high profile clients within the investment management, private equity, insurance, lending and funds industry including Ediston Property Investment Company Plc, Equistone, UK Export Finance (Government), Sequoia Investment Management Company Limited, Grifonas Finance No.1 Plc (SPV) and Oodle Car Finance.

Selected Project Experience:

• Project Raven – Financial advisor to the senior lenders of a global specialist insurance group including close monitoring of liquidity and business plan review.
• Project Red – Acted as lead advisor to a Bermudan Insure-tech business, in relation to the restructuring of $640m debt, including raising c.$50m of new money. Led the critical funds flow workstream with stakeholder advisors.
• Project Harp – Financial advisor to the senior syndicated lenders of ED&F Man, including Company’s Budget review, Business plan review, modelling sensitivities.
• Project East – Acted as financial advisor to the lender group of a £300m turnover UK housebuilder, including IBR and Options analysis.
