Olivier Jay is Honorary Chair, Teneo France and a Senior Managing Director with Teneo.

Olivier has over 25 years’ experience in journalism, digital media, and consulting, most recently at Brunswick, where he was a partner from 2013 to 2020. At Brunswick, Olivier advised clients in critical situations such as crisis, M&A, and restructuring.

Prior to joining Brunswick, Olivier served as Editor of the nationwide French Sunday newspaper, Le Journal Du Dimanche. Previously, he acted as Chief Editor of the French weekly magazine L’Usine Nouvelle, and from 1990 to 2000, Olivier was a Deputy Editor at the main French business daily Les Echos. Earlier in his career, Olivier served as Director of the President’s Office and Director of External Relations for Lafarge, a world leader in building materials, and as the communications adviser to the Archbishop of Paris.

Olivier has also published several books on economic and media issues and is a graduate of the Sciences Po Paris School of Journalism. Olivier is also on the board of Maison Jeanne Garnier, the largest European hospital for palliative care, and a member of Le Siècle.
