Nigel Kassulke

Managing Director

Nigel Kassulke is a Managing Director in Australia, based in Sydney, with over 25 years’ experience in reputation and crisis management. Prior to joining Teneo, Nigel worked for Cannings Strategic Communications as a Director for almost 20 years, where he provided strategic counsel to both Australian and international clients on corporate affairs, media engagement, and crisis management.

Nigel has extensive experience advising clients as they navigate capital raisings and mergers and acquisition, including contested transactions and in the interaction between media, regulators, and government. He is a boardroom advisor to Australia’s leading companies and dealmakers on day-to-day communications and has advised on many of Australia’s most high-profile corporate deals.

Prior to this Nigel worked in South Africa advising a range of leading companies as business lead that country in transitioning from Apartheid.

Nigel attended the University of Queensland where he studied for a BA in economics, politics, and communications. He was a University Blue in rugby and then played for the state of Queensland under coach Bob Templeton. Nigel played rugby for the Australian Wallabies under coach Alan Jones in 1985. He is active surf lifesaver, athlete, and mountaineer.
