Maie Ahmed

Senior Managing Director

Maie Ahmed has more than 14 years of experience in providing strategic communications counsel to government entities and private sector companies across Europe and the Middle East. Bilingual in English and Arabic, Maie specializes in corporate communications, financial PR and reputation management.

Prior to joining Teneo, Maie was a Partner with Consulum and the head of their Dubai office. Maie led key government accounts across the GCC – including investment promotion agencies and sovereign wealth funds – advising on strategic international positioning and issues management, while leading communications around sensitive transactions.

Earlier in her career, Maie held positions with a number of international consultancies. She has advised sovereign wealth funds on the communications aspect of privatization efforts and managed the communications programmes surrounding a number of high-profile acquisitions and M&A transactions. She also has experience developing positioning and philanthropic strategies for prominent public figures.

Maie holds a BSc in Economics from University College London.
