Liam Griffin is a Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory team, having joined the business in July 2020. Based in Manchester, Liam works with corporates, their lenders and other stakeholders both locally and nationally to support them through complex restructuring, performance improvement and insolvency situations.

Liam has over 10 years of financial advisory experience and has worked across a broad range of industries including retail, manufacturing, media, oil & gas, renewables and technology across UK, Europe, USA and Africa. He co-leads the industrial products sector team within Financial Advisory.

Liam’s experience includes reviewing and developing business plans, organic and inorganic growth strategies and short term cash flow forecasts, delivering solvent and insolvent restructuring solutions, M&A and expert witness work.

Prior to joining Teneo, Liam was based in London and worked in corporate development for Euromoney Institutional Investor Plc, a FTSE250 information services company, where he worked with senior executives to develop M&A strategy and led on a number of successful acquisitions and subsequent integrations.

Liam previously worked in Financial Advisory at FTI Consulting, one of the world’s leading international consulting companies, where he focused on complex, multi-lender, cross-jurisdictional restructuring situations.

Liam is the treasurer and a trustee of the Lorna Young Foundation, a UK registered charity working towards the eradication of poverty through ethical trading.
