Lauren Chung

CEO, Teneo Strategy & Communications Asia Pacific

Lauren Chung is the CEO of Teneo’s Asia Pacific Strategy & Communications business. She is responsible for offices including Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong SAR, Tokyo, and Singapore.

Lauren has extensive experience advising CEOs, c-suite, and leadership in the APAC region on achieving their strategic goals through complex stakeholder engagement and reputation challenges.

Over the last 15 years she has worked with some of Asia’s largest organisations guiding them through business-critical moments including strategy development and articulation, capital markets activity, ESG strategy development and execution, crisis response and corporate governance related issues.

Lauren is most passionate about working with corporations to strategise, articulate and operationalize their stakeholder-led business models which seek to create value for the broader society, alongside shareholders, employees, and customers.

Lauren is a Board Director of The Fred Hollows Foundation (Hong Kong), Chairs the Women in Business Network at the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong and sits on a Board committee for Mother’s Choice.

She holds an eMBA from INSEAD, a Master of International Business from Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts.

Lauren speaks conversational Mandarin and lives in Hong Kong with her husband and three children.
