Lauren Chung

COO, Asia-Pacific and Senior Managing Director

Lauren manages the operations across all regional offices, including China, Hong Kong and Singapore. This includes setting operational structures, monitoring progress and supporting the scaling of the business in Asia.

Lauren is also an advisor to organisations and their leaders across Asia on solving critical business issues. Her expertise lies at the intersection of Strategic Communications, Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Policy and Media Relations. Lauren has advised Corporate and NGO leaders through strategy articulation, complex litigation, M&A transactions, activist defense, regulatory affairs, asset raising, crises, management transition and restructuring.

Prior to joining Teneo, Lauren was a Partner in Ryan Communication, a strategic communication consultancy that she, together with Damien Ryan, built to a 35+ team across Asia, and subsequently sold to Teneo Holdings in 2017.

Lauren holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Master of International Business from Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts.She is a Steering Committee member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Network.

Lauren speaks conversational Mandarin and lives in Hong Kong with her husband and son.
