Ilana Bet-El

Senior Advisor

Dr Ilana Bet-El is a senior strategist, specializing in political risk and positioning.

A former senior policy adviser in the UN, specialising in the Balkans and military affairs, she has twenty years’ experience in international consultancy, advising FTSE 100 companies, governments and NGOs on geopolitics, public policy, reputation and communications in the EU and broader Europe, the Middle East, the Trans-Atlantic community and NATO.

With a background in the media and academe, she is a Visiting Fellow at King’s College Department of War Studies, a Senior Associate Fellow of the European Leadership Network (ELN) and a member of the Advisory Board of Women In International Security (WIIS), Brussels. She holds a PhD from University College London and has published and lectured widely.
