Harrison Kruger

Manager

Harrison Kruger is a Manager with Teneo in London, having joined Teneo as part of its purchase of Deloitte’s UK Restructuring business.

Harrison joined the London Restructuring Services Team in 2017 and has gained particular experience in the Retail and Automotive industries. Since joining Harrison has worked on various projects across Portfolio Lead Advisory Services, Value Creation Services, Corporate Insolvency, Pensions and Financial Restructuring.

Harrison is a qualified Chartered Accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales (ICAEW).

 

Highlights of recent experience

  • Arcadia Group Administration
    • led the digital workstream from pre-appointment through trading and implementation of the TSA, liaising with key suppliers such as Google and Facebook, as well as ASOS & boohoo; and
    • undertaking negotiations to release c.£36.8m of stock held in transit at appointment from c.150 suppliers; and
    • stock forecasting and invoicing responsibilities for all ASOS inbound stock, as well as assisting in the ASOS order migration process.
  • Project Panther – Leasehold portfolio options and cash flow analysis for a global leisure company. The project included CVA analysis, which required a revenue linked leasehold categorisation, to determine benefit of CVA vs. consensual negotiations.
  • Project Turn – Detailed CVA feasibility study for 250+ sites, including preparation of the pre-launch landlord strategy.
  • Project Mowbray / Project Chevrolet – High level CVA feasibility study and company restructuring options review for two listed retail companies.
  • Project Crop – Bondholder advisory and UK Scheme of Arrangement comparator report analysis for a market leading global crop irrigation business.
  • Project Dove and Project Turn – CVA feasibility and options analysis, progressing into a second phase working on the full process of preparation covering site categorization, landlord negotiations and creditor voting analysis, for companies in the leisure and retail industry respectively.
  • Project Glass – Desktop review of a UK listed construction group for the Cabinet Office.
  • Project Bilbao – Contingency planning and options analysis for a UK high-street retailer.
  • Project Starling – Provided options analysis, including an EOS, for a European paper mill implementing a Scheme of Arrangement.
  • UK Retail administration – Closure of high-street stores and realisation of stock.
  • Quarterly and Triennial employer covenant assessment for a leading UK bank.
  • Project C – Supply chain and future production strategy analysis for a Japanese headquartered UK OEM
  • Poundworld Administration – A four month trading insolvency of Poundworld Retail Limited, dealing with key / ransom creditors, liaising with utility providers and implementing the 300+ store closure programme.
  • Diageo portfolio sale – Sell–side carve-out assistance for the disposal of multiple Diageo non-core brands, including Seagram’s VO and Parrot Bay, to Sazerac for USD 550m.
  • Project Poseidon – Assisted in the preparation of the investment memorandum and sale process for a c. USD 1bn portfolio of shipping loans to a Private Equity backed JV buyer.
  • Project Rubicon – Assisted on the project for a global telecommunications company to restructure their global and domestic business across Europe and Latin America, resulting in potential disposal of c. GBP 200m revenue.
