Portrait of Graeme Slattery

Graeme Slattery

Senior Managing Director

Graeme is an expert consumer brand strategist with more than 20 years’ experience working with major international corporations across multiple markets.

Prior to the creation of his firm, PSG (a result of the merger of Pembroke Communications and Slattery Communications), now Teneo, Graeme ran the consumer practice within Slattery Communications for five years and was one of the key growth leaders for the business over the years.

Before Slattery Communications, Graeme was Director of Marketing at a global music start-up called MUZU.TV based in Ireland. Prior to that, he was Head of Communications and Head of Music at mobile phone network 3. He was 3’s first employee on the ground in Ireland and was solely responsible for the successful launch of the company into the Irish market, as well as building out its brand awareness and PR efforts over the years.

Graeme lived and worked in the US for 12 years prior to his move back home to Ireland in 2002. He was director of Brand Communications for Philips Electronics with key responsibility across its five divisions, and worked on the company’s first major global brand repositioning known as ‘Sense & Simplicity.’ During his time at Philips, Graeme served as chair of the brand development committee for the Digital Living Network Alliance (DNLA), responsible for the brand identity and positioning for the organisation which was created to ensure interoperability for sharing digital media among multimedia devices from more than 200 consumer electronics manufacturers.

Other U.S.-based roles include: his time as director of the New York practice for California-headquartered consumer tech PR firm based A&R Partners, vice president of technology practice for Manning, Selvage & Lee in San Francisco, as well as various other roles over the years within the same company. Graeme started his brand marketing career working at McCann Erickson advertising agency in San Francisco and segued from there to a small advertising and PR agency called Corsi.
