Dennis Glatzel

Managing Director, Herter & Co.

Dennis Glatzel is a Managing Director with Herter & Co., Teneo’s Financial Advisory business in Germany. He has over 15 years of experience in structured finance and financial advisory.

Prior to joining Herter & Co., Dennis was the Director of Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance with HSBC and also held positions in leveraged finance origination at Commerzbank and Dresdner Kleinwort. Dennis advised private equity clients in the structuring of leveraged buyout transactions across various sectors and was also responsible for managing loan portfolios and distressed as well as performing assets.

Dennis studied at Georg August University Göttingen, Warwick University UK and holds a degree in Business Administration from Goethe University Frankfurt.

 

Selected Project Experience:

  • FUNKE Mediengruppe – €500m corporate financing via syndicated loan and revolving credit line.
  • KAEFER – €650m refinancing via syndicated loan, revolving credit line and guarantee facilities.
  • Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst – Over €400m corporate refinancing comprising revolving credit lines, factoring programs and promissory loans.
  • Restructuring project (confidential) – Advising an industrials company on the restructuring of its debt facilities and implementation of a trusteeship structure.
  • LINDAL – Corporate refinancing via syndicated loan.
  • Expert – c.€200m refinancing of German electronics retailer via bank club.
  • Douglas – €1,600m corporate post-IPO financing via syndicated facilities incl. term loan, bridge loan and a revolving credit line provided by 15 banks.
