Ann Sommerlath is a Managing Director in Teneo’s Strategy and Communications practice.
She has more than 20 years as a journalist and strategic communications consultant. Before joining Teneo, she was Managing Director, Corporate Brand, at Marina Maher Communications, where she was responsible for building the corporate practice.
Previously, Sommerlath was Chief Communications Officer of IMAX Corp., where she oversaw all internal and external communications, developed thought-leadership platforms for CEO Richard Gelfond and other executives, managed the company’s ESG initiatives, and collaborated closely with investor relations.
Prior to IMAX, she was a senior corporate and financial communications strategist at Edelman and Fleishman-Hillard, and spent two years in Frankfurt, Germany, as director of internal communications for LSG SkyChefs, Lufthansa’s catering subsidiary.
She began her career as a sports and business journalist for news organizations including Dow Jones and the Associated Press.
