Teneo Appoints Kevin Atkin as a Senior Managing Director to Support Growth of Healthcare Industry Offering

Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Kevin Atkin as a Senior Managing Director with the firm’s Management Consulting business in London. Kevin joins as part of Teneo’s continued investment in its healthcare industry offering, supporting clients as they navigate an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

Kevin brings more than 25 years of experience in consulting, including two decades dedicated specifically to healthcare. He specialises in whole-system transformational change, drawing on extensive experience redesigning services and organisations across primary care, community services, mental health and acute settings. This breadth provides him with deep insight into system-wide and patient needs.

Kevin is adept at working at all levels of the organisations he supports – from boards and management teams to clinical leaders – to drive improved outcomes. His work includes leading large-scale reconfigurations across broad geographical footprints, ensuring services are commissioned appropriately and aligned to population needs. Kevin also has a strong interest in data and intelligence, as well as the value these bring to the healthcare sector in managing demand and delivering effective, efficient services, including through Population Health Management.

Prior to joining Teneo, Kevin spent 10 years at Partner level, first at GE Healthcare Finnamore and most recently at Carnall Farrar (CF), both dedicated healthcare consultancies. He has also held several senior roles within the NHS across London, giving him first-hand insight into client challenges and experiences.

“We are thrilled to have Kevin join our growing team,” said Lucy Thorp, Senior Managing Director at Teneo. “His extensive experience in health system transformation will further strengthen our ability to support clients through a challenging and evolving health and care landscape.”

“I am excited to join Teneo and bring the breadth of expertise from across the firm to our clients. It’s fantastic to be joining at a time of growth for our specialist team, enabling us to support healthcare organisations as they navigate some of the most significant challenges seen in recent years,” said Kevin Atkin.
