Colleen Hsia

Colleen Hsia, CAIA

Senior Managing Director

Colleen Hsia is a Senior Managing Director at Teneo, where she advises senior executives and boards on complex strategic, reputational, financial communications, and crisis issues – leveraging her deep knowledge of banking, asset management, fintech, crypto and blockchain, as well as AI, tech and software. She works with some of the largest and most widely recognized companies in the world to help them tell their stories more effectively, particularly to financial markets and investor audiences. She also leads efforts in Teneo’s IPO and capital markets business.

Colleen brings over twenty years of experience working with institutional investors across financial markets. Before joining Teneo, Colleen was Senior Managing Director and Head of Americas Financial Services at FTI Consulting. She previously served as Global Head of Marketing and Communications at Jane Street. She spent seven years at BlackRock, leading investment research, product strategy and marketing and communications teams in New York and Hong Kong.

Earlier in her career, she was an investment analyst at Magnitude Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund where she also led investor relations and helped build into a multi-billion dollar firm. She began her career as an investment banker at Citigroup. Colleen holds MBA degrees from Columbia Business School and London Business School and B.A. degrees in Economics-Political Science and East Asian Studies from Columbia University. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
