Faten advises companies on conscientious business practices, helping them meet the public’s evolving expectations of the private sector.

Faten is co-chair of Teneo’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) advisory. The group’s work encompasses a range of DE&I matters across all characteristics of diversity, from advising on boardroom diversity, DE&I disclosure and public policy to defining actionable steps and measurable goals that foster inclusion and belonging. Faten has extensive experience developing and executing tailored DE&I strategies that align with business priorities and enhance company performance. In addition to proactive solutions, Faten assists clients in managing complex crisis situations and implementing long-term remediation and rebuilding strategies.

As part of Teneo Ventures, Faten invests in disruptive start-ups that support the above aims. The Teneo Ventures portfolio is composed of early-stage enterprise solutions that use technology to tangibly improve the way companies do business. Within Teneo Ventures, Faten also works closely with portfolio companies to help them scale and commercialize for enterprise. Key investment subsectors include recruiting, employee engagement and sustainability software.

Previously, Faten spent three years working on the interest rates sales desk at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, where she advised institutional clients on global economic drivers and financial markets and helped grow the Company’s MENA Central Bank and Sovereign Wealth Fund business.

More recently, Faten co-founded an EdTech start-up in Bahrain with the mission to deliver career development services to high school students, regardless of academic record, ethnicity, gender or socio-economic background. She also helped launch The Novel Diner, an experiential pop-up restaurant in London.

Faten holds an M.B.A. in Management and in Business Economics and Public Policy from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Relations from Cornell University.
