Richard Williams is Senior Managing Director and Head of Forensic APAC with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in Hong Kong SAR.
Richard drives the growth of Teneo’s forensic investigations, discovery and data analytics capabilities across APAC and global markets. He works with the broader leadership team to deliver technology-driven solutions to clients navigating regulatory, compliance, litigation and crisis-driven matters.
Richard is highly experienced in delivering complex and highly sensitive projects in the UK, Middle East and Asia for clients in both the private and public sectors. Richard spent 13 years in Asia, where he founded the Analytics and Forensic Technology team at Deloitte China and served as the Global Leader of Deloitte Discovery, sitting on the Global Executive Committee for Forensic Services. With more than 35 years of experience in investigation, compliance, digital forensics and technology-led discovery, Richard has built and led teams across Australia, Europe, the U.S. and Asia.
Richard has served as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Australia, and has provided sworn affidavits on discovery and forensic technology matters across the U.S., PRC and Hong Kong SAR.
