Rebecca Powney is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Strategy and Communications business, based in Doha. Rebecca advises senior leaders across government and the private sector on strategic communications, reputation management and stakeholder engagement.
Rebecca Joined Teneo in 2024, following almost a decade at Consulum, where she led high-profile public sector advisory projects across the Gulf and Europe. Earlier in her career, Rebecca held leadership roles at Bell Pottinger and served as Private Secretary to the Rt Hon Tony Blair in his capacity as Quartet Representative to the Middle East.
Her background includes diplomatic and policy experience from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, with a particular focus on the Middle East and European Affairs. Rebecca has lived and worked in the region for over 15 years.
