Otto Laird is a Director with Teneo’s Strategy and Communications business, based in Brussels.
Otto advises clients on strategy, advocacy campaigns, and integrated policy communications, helping organisations navigate complex regulatory questions. He delivers forward-looking political and regulatory analysis, enabling clients to anticipate and respond to critical developments. His expertise includes the clean energy transition, sustainability reporting, and energy-intensive industries.
Prior to joining Teneo, Otto worked as a parliamentary advisor on energy policy, international trade, and transatlantic relations to a Member of the European Parliament. He has previous public affairs consulting experience in Brussels and has completed stints with Eurojust in the Netherlands and the House of Commons in the UK.
Otto holds an MSc in EU Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BA in International Relations and Politics from the University of Kent.
