Managing Director

Melissa Mackreath is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Strategy & Communications team in New York.

Since relocating to New York three years ago, Melissa has focused on CEO positioning, corporate reputation and issues management briefs for clients across a number of sectors. She also leads some of Teneo’s global teams working on complex integrated communications and stakeholder engagement programs that cross multiple regions.

Prior to this Melissa spent 10 years in London, specializing in developing positioning and behavior change campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands. Melissa has extensive experience partnering with advertising, marketing and media agencies to shape communications plans that help build reputations and achieve commercial results. As part of Teneo London’s Strategy Consulting team, Melissa also has experience in organizational design, helping clients structure corporate affairs functions in line with business priorities, embed new ways of working, and build capability.

Melissa graduated with a first class honors degree in War Studies and History from King’s College London and is a recipient of the university’s prestigious Jelf Medal. She is a dual US / UK citizen.
