Matt Powney is a Manager in Teneo’s Financial Advisory practice, specialising in the travel and aviation sectors.
He is a qualified chartered accountant and started his career in finance in audit with Deloitte in 2014. During his seven years in audit, Matt specialised in the delivery of large and complex listed audits and assurance projects in the Aviation and Aerospace industries. His clients included companies such as TUI, Norwegian, Flybe, GKN/Melrose and Virgin Atlantic.
Matt joined the Deloitte Restructuring Practice in January 2021 and worked on a mixture of advisory and administration projects across a wide range of industries before moving with the wider Deloitte Restructuring practice to Teneo in June 2021.
Matt holds an MSC in Business Management from Bath University.
