Louise Smith

Managing Director

Louise Smith is a Managing Director with Teneo’s Strategy & Communications team, based in London.

Louise combines more than 15 years’ consumer and corporate communications experience to creatively solve client challenges – from navigating today’s regulatory environment, to using insight-based communications to help transform reputations. Louise is an experienced media handler having led issues responses alongside proactive campaigns comprising thought-leadership, executive profiling, and ‘news-generation’ to reach multiple audiences. Louise works across a broad range of sectors delivering campaigns for many of the world’s largest brands.

Prior to Teneo, Louise lived and worked in Australia for five years. She spent the first three years with leading corporate communications consultancy, Rowland in Brisbane. Following that, Louise was senior member of Edelman Sydney’s Corporate Brand practice, where she built corporate reputations through purpose-led campaigning.

Louise’s career began in-house with McDonald’s UK’s Corporate Affairs team where she contributed to major trust-building campaigns like ‘Not Bad for a McJob’. Following her time at McDonald’s, Louise joined the consumer practice at Lexis PR.

Louise obtained a 2:1 degree in Business Management from King’s College, London.
