James Fearnley-Marr

Managing Director

James Fearnley-Marr is a Managing Director at Teneo, based in the Dubai office. James has 15 years of experience advising multinational companies, public sector organisations and leaders on strategic communications, reputation management, issues and crises, financial communications, government affairs and partnerships.

Prior to joining Teneo, James was Strategy Director and External Affairs Director at Reckitt, the FTSE15 consumer goods company where he led reputational initiatives and global corporate affairs projects. Previously, James worked with Finsbury in London and Singapore advising clients in EMEA and APAC and has experience across a range of sectors including aviation, banking, consumer goods, fintech, insurance, private equity and real estate.

James began his career as a corporate lawyer and remains a non-practising solicitor. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science, Oxford University’s Corporate Affairs Academy, Nottingham Law School, and has studied global public policy leadership at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
