Enoch Wong is Manager, Financial Advisory with Teneo, based in Hong Kong SAR.
Prior to joining Teneo, Enoch was part of the Transactions Strategy Execution practice for EY-Parthenon’s Strategy & Transactions team where he had leading roles in numerous post-merger integration and separations projects. Enoch has experience advising on strategy, M&A and financial and operational improvement projects. He is a specialist in large-scale programme management, post-deal separations and integrations, and has led Operations and Finance workstreams for some of the largest cross-border transactions in APAC for financial institutions.

Recent M&A and post-deal transaction experience
- Multinational Banking Client Segment Separation and Integration – Led the PMO team of a client segment separation & integration migration project from a Hong Kong licensed entity to a US licensed entity for a Global Bank. Acted as one of the main client contact points across Hong Kong and US counterparties on project coordination, and overall project organisation. Delivered and implemented numerous outputs not limited to; overall project oversight, operational readiness documentation, client communication letters review, regulatory reporting alignments, notice of amends to terms and conditions, and external service agreement review. Furthermore, also prepared a management reporting dashboard, and project ergonomics for regional reporting and weekly updates.
- Banking Merger and Business Day-1 Planning – Led the Operations and Facility Management workstream on PMO support for the post-merger integration of two local banks in Thailand with combined assets of THB1.9 Trillion and a customer base of over 10millon. Reported and assisted directly to the COO, Head of Operations, Head of Facility Management, and Central Integration management office. He also developed and delivered the Workstream Target Operating Model (TOM), Integration plan, premise acquisition metrics, operations integration handbook and IT requirements inventory.
- Multinational Insurance Client Finance Function TOM design – Designed the finance function target operating model (TOM) for the Asia Pacific business of a global insurer to drive operational efficiency and reduce costs. Conducted a current assessment of the organisation model and advised on considerations to centralise and transition to a shared service / lower-cost location and region. Re-designed the to-be processes and developed process maps and adequate documentation.
- Performed cost savings analysis and FTE efficiency review for different initiatives in the Finance function. Involved in the development of the gap analysis between the current and future state, identified opportunities for process improvements including the MI process, and assisted in the implementation of key opportunities to improve efficiency, control, and governance.
- Business Strategy for New Customer Acquisition – Assisted in a strategy consulting project for an Insurance Joint venture Asset management company to drive third-party AUM. This involves conducting a series of client interviews, formulating market sizing analysis, benchmark analysis on its competitors, strategy approach and action plan recommendations.
