Teneo Appoints Serdar Cabuk as a Senior Managing Director
Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Serdar Cabuk as a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s Financial Advisory business. Based in London, Serdar will help lead the ongoing growth of Teneo’s cybersecurity advisory capabilities to support clients globally.
Teneo’s integrated cybersecurity advisory practice helps leadership teams manage cyber as a strategic business risk and navigate high-stakes events, including transactions and crises. It leverages expertise from across the firm, including the Forensic, Risk Advisory and Strategy & Communications teams. Serdar will focus on building Teneo’s core cybersecurity capabilities in collaboration with the Risk Advisory team and bringing them to market across EMEA and other key markets globally. He will work with the broader leadership team to advise companies on addressing cyber risk.
Serdar brings more than 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology and risk consulting, having held senior technical and leadership roles across the Big Four and IBM. He advises clients in the financial services and energy sectors on cybersecurity strategy, response to and recovery from major cyber incidents, and cybersecurity and technology trends and regulation. He also has a proven track record of embedding cybersecurity across key client issues such as M&A due diligence, pre-IPO valuations, complex supply chains and the safe adoption of emerging technologies.
Prior to Teneo, Serdar was the UK lead partner for risk consulting and energy consulting at KPMG and previously led the Nordic cyber business at Deloitte and the European security consulting business at IBM.
