Varvara Athousaki is an Associate Director in the Core Restructuring team, within Teneo’s Financial Advisory business in London.

Varvara joined Teneo’s Financial Advisory team in London in February 2024 from EY’s Special Situations Advisory team in Singapore. She has over 6 years of experience across the United Kingdom and Singapore.

Varvara has experience supporting lenders and management teams in preserving value in distressed situations. She specialises in liquidity monitoring, forecast reviews and financial advisory across a wide range of industries, including real estate, energy, aviation and pharmaceuticals.

Prior to restructuring, Varvara worked on structured finance transactions supporting high profile financial institutions to raise debt capital.

Varvara is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) and has been a member of ICAEW since 2016.
