TJ White is a Senior Managing Director in the Transactions and Strategic Situations Group (TSSG) at Teneo, based in New York.
TJ is a trusted advisor to boards and management teams, providing strategic communications counsel and support on a variety of transactions and special situations, including domestic and cross-border M&A, shareholder activism defense, executive leadership transitions, litigation and crises. He also has extensive experience working with clients across hedge funds, private equity and venture capital.
Throughout his career, TJ has advised on over $500 billion in M&A transactions by aggregate equity value and has helped clients navigate numerous high-profile activist defense situations from small- to mega-cap. Prior to joining Teneo, he worked at Sloane & Company where he led their Special Situations practice, providing strategic support to clients through critical inflection points in the lifecycle of their respective companies. TJ began his career at Sard Verbinnen, now FGS Global.
TJ is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizations and Society.
