Tim Robertson

Senior Managing Director

Tim Robertson is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in Melbourne.

He has over 18 years of experience providing turnaround and restructuring advice to a wide range of stakeholders across Asia Pacific, including some of the region’s largest and most complex restructurings. Prior to joining Teneo following its acquisition of PwC’s Australian Business Restructuring Services unit, Tim was a Partner at PwC, having spent much of his career working across Asia, including four years based in Hong Kong, advising companies, funds, bondholders and banks on cross-border restructurings.

Tim has deep expertise in operational and financial restructuring, turnaround planning, cash and solvency reviews and independent business assessments. His recent projects include advising the board of The Star Entertainment Group on its operational and financial restructure, serving as lead advisor on the restructure of PNG Air and advising the Victorian Government on financial viability assessments and support packages for businesses impacted by COVID-19. He has also acted as advisor on high-profile matters including Malaysian Airlines, Catholic Church Insurance Limited and the UK administration of Lehman Brothers.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from Monash University. He is a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
