Thomas Austin is an Associate Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory team, based in London. He is a Chartered Accountant and financial restructuring professional with over 10 years of experience across the United Kingdom and Australia.

Thomas supports lenders, management teams and other stakeholders to preserve value. Thomas specialises in financial restructuring engagements, having recently managed forecast reviews, business reviews, options analysis and contingency planning. During 2023, Thomas completed a 12 month secondment to HSBC UK’s Special Credit Unit in London, managing exposures to customers in financial difficulty.

Prior to joining Teneo, Thomas was an Associate Director in KPMG Australia’s Restructuring Services business and was a member of the Turnaround Management Association of Australia’s NextGen Committee for Melbourne, Australia.
