Senior Vice President

Sydney Turnbull is a Senior Vice President with Teneo’s Strategy & Communications business, based in Riyadh.

Sydney boasts an impressive eight-year tenure in Saudi Arabia, where she has established herself as a skilled communication strategist. She worked at the Strategic Management Office, crafting effective copy, content strategies and digital campaigns that illuminated the transformative Vision 2030. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, she shaped impactful messages, contributed to media training for Saudi ministerial and ambassadorial interactions and played a pivotal role in coordinating Vision 2030 communications across the Kingdom.

During her time as a Senior Media and Content Specialist at the G20 Saudi Secretariat, Sydney managed high-pressure media scenarios and oversaw a meticulous communications grid that ensured the execution of digital and traditional media tactics.

Sydney’s journey in Saudi Arabia began in 2015 as an event manager at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, where she orchestrated events featuring notable international and domestic figures. Her event management career began in Washington DC, coordinating events around the world for The Aspen Institute’s esteemed Aspen Global Leadership Network.

Sydney graduated from the inaugural cohort of the University of the Arts London and Birkbeck’s joint MBA program. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
