Nick de Bunsen

Managing Director

Nick de Bunsen is a Managing Director with Teneo based in London and is an Investor Relations specialist in the Financial Communications practice. He advises Boards and IR teams on all aspects of their interactions with the investment community, bringing the perspective of more than 15 years in the equity capital markets, working with UK and European companies across almost all industry sectors and spanning the full market cap range.

Nick started his career in the Equity Capital Markets group of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in the late 1990s, where he advised on numerous IPOs and follow-on offerings across major European markets. He was based in London and New York, and was central to the creation of a specialist team managing European equity cross-holdings.

From 2006 to 2017, Nick worked at Makinson Cowell – latterly part of KPMG’s Capital Advisory Group – advising a range of FTSE 100 and 250 companies. He supported senior executive management and IR teams through all the set piece events of the financial calendar and delivered in-depth qualitative investor perception studies, helping his clients to implement best practice IR and developing extensive knowledge of the investment community. In addition, Nick supported companies through high profile events such as capital raising, bid and activist defence, strategy change and management transition.

Nick has an MSc from the London School of Economics in Environmental Policy, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Manchester in Spanish and Philosophy.
