Michael Spahn is a Senior Managing Director with Herter & Co. in Frankfurt, part of Teneo’s Financial Advisory business.

For more than 20 years, Michael has been active in German and international corporate financing and advisory. Prior to joining Herter & Co., Michael spent over 11 years at ING Bank, where he founded and led ING’s German Public Sector business for eight years. Most recently, Michael managed a loan portfolio of EUR 5 billion while also advising leading energy companies.
Earlier in his career, Michael was a Senior Project Manager at SEB AG and an Assistant Director of Corporate Finance advisory at Deloitte. He began his career as an Associate in Corporate and Strategic Finance at Dresdner Kleinwort.

Michael holds a master’s degree in business administration from Goethe University.
