Melissa Humann is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining Teneo following its acquisition of PwC’s Australian Business Restructuring Services unit, Melissa was a Managing Director at PwC with more than 25 years of experience in corporate restructuring and insolvency. Melissa has been involved with engagements across aged care, arts and entertainment, professional services and real estate, advising government agencies, lenders and corporates in situations of financial stress.
Melissa has deep experience conducting independent business reviews, complex strategic assessments and formal insolvency appointments. Her recent work includes serving as Special Purpose Liquidator of Youpla Group, taking senior roles within the voluntary administrations of Panthera Finance, PGP Group and IOU Pay, and undertaking financial viability reviews for the Department of Health and Department of Communities and Justice in New South Wales.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia and a Master of Professional Accounting from Edith Cowan University. She is a Registered Liquidator and a Fellow of both Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA).
