Martin Ford is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business, based in Melbourne.
He has more than 20 years of experience advising financiers, companies and key stakeholders on underperforming businesses across a wide range of industries. Prior to joining Teneo following its acquisition of PwC’s Australian Business Restructuring Services unit, Martin was a Partner at PwC, where he worked closely with financial institutions, corporates and government agencies on risk management, governance and restructuring initiatives.
Martin has extensive experience in distressed real estate, including hospitality and hotels, build-to-rent, commercial and development sites. He has also been involved in major mining restructuring matters and advised on numerous retail and confidential assignments, providing strategic cash management and turnaround solutions to boards and investors.
Martin holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Monash University. He is a Registered Liquidator and a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA) and the Turnaround Management Association of Australia. He also serves as Board Member and Treasurer of Police Veterans Victoria Inc.
